Any personal experience buying from Dangerous 9 straps - Swiss Ammo?

Love the straps - although a long lead time. About 11-13 weeks.

Not cheap but you can tell the guy is a real craftsman. Wonderful video on his site showing him making one strap end to end.

Thanks!

Swiss ammo, specifically? No, but I've dealt with John and he's awesome to work with. Part of the price you pay is for the personal attention and nearly limitless possibilities he offers.

As for the ammo, I've heard great things. I believe "traveller" may have one?

Thanks Cru.

Yes. They (Swiss ammo) really look beautiful. The guy has this great shop in Germany. I'm not a tool guy, but I was envious.

I also have an order with Toshi straps in the UK. No Swiss ammo but nice handmade work as well.

Toshi straps are ultra soft and a great value. Storm grey would look good on the 312.

I just recently (10 days ago) placed an order with D9. I'm having a strap made for my DSSD DBlue, matte black alligator with blue stitching. It should really pop with the blue in the gradient dial, I'll post pics when it arrives.

Very nice, I pondered a SA strap, looked at every photo in the albums. The authentic vintage vibe is so masterfully crafted into his SA straps, I'm quite sure I'll purchase one as well in the next few months. Looking forward to your strap photos.

I haven't purchased one, but have traded many emails with him. I was going to purchase one but was a little turned off with the 3+ month lead time. However, in my opinion, I think his ammo pouch straps are the best out there. The leather is just beautiful. The next strap I get will be one of his.
