any idea what the hand engravings are for on the inside of the back case??

im brand new to this site and not sure at all what im doing so please humor me. i am in posession of a rolex watch i inheirited from my uncle. it is a 1960's (1963 i believe) oyster perpetual datejust screwdown. sty#1500 ser#411482 is there anyway i can find out where the watch was originally sold from? also, i was curious as to what it might be worth.i took it to a jewelery store that sells rolex watches and the guy offered me $375.00 for it. i thought they were worth much more.
any input would be greatly appreciated, dan |
