im brand new to this site and not sure at all what im doing so please humor me. i am in posession of a rolex watch i inheirited from my uncle. it is a 1960's (1963 i believe) oyster perpetual datejust screwdown. sty#1500 ser#411482 is there anyway i can find out where the watch was originally sold from? also, i was curious as to what it might be worth.i took it to a jewelery store that sells rolex watches and the guy offered me $375.00 for it. i thought they were worth much more.

any input would be greatly appreciated,

dan

Watchmakers make a notatation on the inside of the case cover when they service a watch. I'm thinking mine is about out of room for autographs...
