Base model caseback
I would like to put an exhibition case back on my Pam 005, Is this a hard process? Does it void warranty? Where to get a case back?

This is an interesting question. I don't recall it having been asked before on this forum with respect to Panerai. Personally, I like the feel of metal against the skin as opposed to crystal.
Maybe Preik does one for Panerai? If you find a solution, it would be great to see pics. ![]() |

I thought about doing that to a 292, the feedback I got was "don't do it" :p
From what I heard, there isn't really a "quality" display back besides the ones from Homages. And the movement is not really decorated like the one in 111/112, so there isn't really something to look at. And you lose the production information which are on the case back. The reason why I wanted to do that to a 292 is more because I don't like the PVD case back rather than I want to see the movement itself.
