Follow up to 40th anniversary

Just got a call from AD they have a 40th anniversary 5711 in stock. Have these appreciated in value or was there not enough interest because of the tombstone dial?

There are a few avail for sale north of 150, like 175-225ish.

IMO- was a love/hate release. Find the right buyer and should be able to pull more than you paid.. Might be sitting on it for a while though depending what return you expect.

I'd really buy one if it were not for the embossed dial. Love the pieces

I would say buy it if you love it. But don't buy it with speculation of making a profit from the watch!

That's a great question because the live pics of the 40th 5711 have been fuego.

Sound advice

If I was able to afford it then I would love to have one.

Always!
Same for any watch or car, no matter what people say about rarity or resale.

x2!

I don't think any watch, especially this one, is a good idea to speculate on.

I wonder if the dimensions are identical to 5711/1a... movement swap?
