New PAM 1628 vs old 372?

Are there any real differences?

Looks like the dials may be different. Which is better?

Wish this came out in 44mm. Is it true the p.3000 movement won't fit in a 44mm case?

Case finish is also different as well between the two. 372 also had plexi when it first came out which I don't believe this one has.

I have always loved the 372 but am not sure I can pull off a 47mm...

As the 372 is readily available preowned around $5k-$8K, the price of the new one is hard to justify unless there are improvements.

I heard that the P.3000 movement is too big to fit into a 44mm case. True?

If you can pull the size off the 372 is great. The 673 is also nice with marina militaire on the face.

Judging with my eyes, it would not fit. It sits fairly , , ,

Close to the very edges of the case. Could they scale it down, very likely. I have a 7.5 wrist and it's perfect, big in a good way and super comfortable.

I have a 6.5 inch wrist of so & wear the 372 in rotation w the 44 luminors, no problem in being too large in the least. I really dig the plexi 372 :)
