Picked up my first GS

SBGH295. The first watch I bought as a collector was an SKX173. I have been toying with the idea of getting a GS for years and finally took the plunge today.

I have always wanted one of these, I plan on buying it before the year runs out. That’s a beautiful watch, congrats.

Had that model and let it go. Have been considering getting another. It’s such a nice watch that pics do not do justice. Very comfortable as well. Big congrats to you!!!

Congrats, beautiful watch.

Photos rarely do GS dials justice.

As an aside, I was pleasantly surprised with how tough this model is, it’s not to be pampered. My wife had quite a GS collection and regularly swam with them in the pool and salt, long distance biking and mountain hiking. Never a problem.

Congrats on your purchase! Looks very sharp and I’m sure you’ll be pleased. I’ve been a Snowflake owner for the past year and can honestly say that it’s one of the few that I’d likely hang on to forever. In process of acquiring a Shunbun as well. Wear in good health!

Have the same model for years now. This mesmerizing dial gets equal or more compliments when worn, than the more expensive pieces in the collection. Enjoy with the best of health!!
