Fliplock on clasp is missing. Glidelock Sub Hulk.

Like the title says the fliplock part of my clasp is missing. Not sure how it broke off. This watch is a new submariner hulk. Any help on how to get this fixed would be amazing.

Thank you in advance,
Hector

i think you are going to have to put up pictures to show what part exactly is missing.... but assuming its a genuine rolex and its new as you stated i would take it back to rolex.... go to your closest service center and see how they can help you

Sorry, this watch is not new, what I meant is that it is the newest style. It was purchased when they first came out, and it isn't currently under warranty.

Thanks!

Hector
You got any pics of the inside of the bracelet, where the glidelock is suppose to be?

Probably got caught on something & got knocked off :( I sometimes find mine open, but lucky enough not to catch it on anything yet.

Wonder if they'll sell you just that part or need to buy the whole clasp.
Might need to be whole unit for it to blend in.

That is what I was hoping to find out from someone on this forum.

Have you contacted an AD or RSC for assistance?

I would send it to RSC. Might be due for service anyways and they can replace the missing fliplock and any other damaged items that may have allowed the fliplock to fall off. If you allow them to refinish your watch as they normally do with the service, everything should blend in nicely. If they want to replace the whole clasp, I think you may be in sticker shock when they quote the price. I've never actually seen a quote but read somewhere that it was USD 750 - have no idea if this is right.
You are in LA so you may have options for an independent watchmaker to make the necessary repairs.

I did now, very strange.

That is a dirty ass watch as well, due for a thorough cleaning. How is this a "new" watch, with all that crud caked into the clasp?

I'd be pissed if my lock flew off!

First OP says watch is new. Then he says he bought the Hulk when they came out..which would be 2010? Something doesn't add up here?

Just to correct things, the part you're missing is for the bracelet that is called the OysterLock. FlipLock refers to the bracelet and divers' extension clasp found on Deep-Sea/Sea-Dweller models. This may help in your search.

Wash your steel watch regularly or wait for it to corrode :(

What I meant was new style sub. People in forums are always looking for some kind of conspiracy. This is the new style clasp on the original hulk that was purchased year one of release.

Thanks!

Start at the RSC and if not happy, many options in LA. Good luck.
