Green Dial Daytona

Last year I found one 116508 Green daytona for my friend in Brazil. Now looking for one for myself since I already have a two tone black face and steel sub.

Anybody seen this recently?

DavidSW had one last week but it's off his site now. I believe it was listed at 36K, which is about 2k above retail.

The 116508 green dial seems to be a bit challenging to find. I ve been looking for a while. I was quoted 12-18 months wait.

John Mayer on talking watches with Hodinkee just referenced this model and blue face white gold version....expect prices to get higher!

Seems to be going for a $5k-6k premium on the gray market. It's an absolutely stunning timepiece.

Edit - posted this to the wrong thread. Sorry!

Agree both of these PM models are stunning. I've come across the YG green dial at ADs more than the WG blue dial over the past few years. I think I have only seen the latter once.

Wow, PM Rolexesover MSRP! I’ve seen the WG blue dial Daytona a number of times. Was easy to find and beautiful. The only possible issue is the WG bezel getting marked up. Not sure they’d ever release a cerachrome one either as I don’t think it would look good in black or blue.

John Mayer just made the search for this watch tougher.

Finding one with OEM baguette set bezel is even harder. PM Rolex can definitely be rare!

My AD said they could get me a steel Daytona sooner than the all gold green dial....

Well look at it from the positive side.. it IS still listed, so chances are you’ll find one sooner or later, when you are lucky..
something that cannot be said about the green dial GMT

GD Daytona is a rare piece. Get in touch with as much AD as you can to help you get it.
