While not actually a Talking Watches episode from Hodinkee, here is a video of Wei Koh chatting with Ben Clymer and Ben brings out a few of his own watches.

A nice little glimpse into Bens collection and what he looks for in collecting watches - one owner and provenance.

Don't worry, no predictions about future sleeper hits ala Mayer. I haven't seen this shared yet on TRF so I thought I would.

Well I saw it. He was basically saying buy hodinkee editions because they never sell below retail. He was also pumping the current state of no discounts and no one should ever get discounts. A shill for the industry not shocked. Very smart guy. He managed to turn a reporting site into both a reporting site and commercial sales vehicle.

I didn't realize he was pumping Hodinkee pieces. I never go to their shop section.

Eh kind of cheesy - if I wanted to see and hear about all of the Dink's limited editions I'd go to their site. Their producing almost as many limited editions as Hublot

Wei Koh NEVER “interviews” someone, he talks about himself, and occasionally allows a sentence from the other person.

If you didn't enjoy it, you can have a good laugh at the instagram page( if any members have it) "hodonkee" where he makes a video about when Ben goes " he goes f*** deep" gave me a good laugh, its basically a troll page even wei has a good laugh out of the content as well xD

Hodinkee jumped the shark a while back. It's a shame. Riddled with conflicts.
