After doing some searching I didn't see much on the different dial variations of this particular SubC. Anyone care to post pics and discuss the differences?

116610LV HULK is a specific Rolex model, it's a Submariner Date with a Green Sunburst Dial and a Green Ceramic Bezel. No other dials or bezels available. If you are talking about the Submariner in general, it's available in steel with a black dial/bezel (116610LN) and in Two Tone and Yellow Gold with black or blue bezel/dial combos and in white gold with a blue bezel/dial.

The 116610LV has only one dial. It takes on a different look depending on the lighting and angle, turning from a very toned down mellow green to a bright vibrant green in direct sunlight.

I, too, am unaware of any dial variations...but, I would not be surprised. Rolex sneaks them in all the time.

There's at least two: check the "300 m = 1,000 ft" line. Spacing is a bit different (more even is later, but original puts more accent on the meters side of the equation).

My LN and LV have differences in the 1000 ft = 300m.
Serif on ft, spacing of =, proximity of m to 300. Hope this picture helps. |

That's interesting! Have you seen this variation on the LVc only or between the LVc and the LN?

the current LN has two variations, it's been like this for a pretty long time now
but the new variation in the LVc (long "f' in feet, unequal = , and lOOO) is very recent |

Cool, That's interesting to know thanks. I'll have to keep an eye out for that and check my own. I'd imagine it's the older variant as I have it probably a couple of years now. Cheers!

There are seven116610ln dials and four 116610lv dials, and three smurf dials.there are only two 116613lb dials and there are three dial layouts for the 114060 the difference between the dials is minimal to the point 99 percent of people would only think there is 1 or 2 dials when in reality there are many as I listed above
And there are 2 different rehaut engravings aswell.the 2016 models all have the new style rehaut |

So what's going on with some of the text differences that look like errors? Like the one too many spaces between the = and the 3? Even I know better than to make that mistake. It's not as if they are typing these up in tiny too small to properly proof check font, right?

There is also different versions with the spacing on the date text under Rolex. 2017 versions have less of a spacing.

As with the standard Sub, there is the Bold and Non-Bold "Submariner" font. The ft spacing is another variation.

That is one freaking beautiful watch. Rolex makes some amazingly stunning sunburst dials. The Deepsea's gradient dial is pretty spectacular but nothing plays with light and looks quite as dynamic as the green dial on the LVc.
It is never ever the same watch, a 1mm degree change in wrist angle creates a different shading arc in the green burst effect. Marvelous. |
