First Patek - Question

Hey guys.

I think I may have my first patek next week. Don’t want to jinx it just yet. Anyway - should I expect any goodies from them travel case etc. Is there anything I need to know while taking the experience in. Hopefully the card doesn’t decline ha

Depends where you're buying it, and what models you actually purchase.

My experience in the Geneva salon is the most awesome in all purchases I have ever had.

I thought they only sell to local buyers or did you buy something that's readily available ?

Short answer is no if it is adjustable by cutting. Whether you can buy another different strap to have depends on what PP will sell you for that model.

AFAIK Patek doesn’t sell different colour straps anymore, they did it for green but now it is limited exclusively to that Reference.

I got a second strap and a travel pouch when I picked up a 5167A.

Do you find with the rubber strap you need a summer and winter one?

Not at all, the strap is extremely comfortable and holds up very well. Just make sure if you are taking it somewhere like swimming in the pool or the sea to give it a good sweet water rinse later.
