Incoming! (1st Rolex)

Got the Air King today fresh from the AD.This watch is amazing and completely different in pics when you have in on your wrist! Pics to follow!

Question - Do you guys recommend getting a watch winder if so which one would you recommend?

Congratulations Patrick, enjoy it

I’m not inclined to use watch winders, the wrist does just fine

If this is going to get most of the wrist time, wear the heck out of it. There is no date on the air king anyways, so easy to wind and go.

Thank you guys! This watch is a different beast in real life. The dial is gorgeous and the green really pop!

If you are on the fence I highly recommend trying on one, it is a fantastic underrated watch and I’m over the moon with this one.

I had hard time choosing between the air king and The Explorer 1, and while the explorer is a timeless classic watch I find the air king a lot more fun.

Congratulations!

You do not need a watch winder.

It's just an unnecessary expense.

You don’t need one, but I enjoy all of my winders, stuck with Wolf and so far no issues. Congrats on your pickup !

Congratulations Patrick a great watch and one of Rolex longest running production watches. The Airking has a long great Rolex history, wear your watch with pride and in good health.About the watch winder IMHO not needed with any modern day Rolex watch.

Congrats, very nice watch, and yes it's much better looking in real life than in pictures. I get a lot of looks on the wrist when wearing the Bloodhound Air King and the Rootbeer than with other references. No for watch winder.

Congrats! Opinions vary, but I don't see a need for a winder. I own several automatic watches, most of which stop from lack of use. I just wind & set time when ready to wear, takes 30 seconds.

Congrats! My first as well. It looks totally different in person than in pics. Lots more dial space, green doesnt stand out like a sore thumb, and the 3-6-9 in WG makes them disappear on the dial.
