Icon6 Incoming: Two-tone Submariner

Hi all,

I've always appreciated the submariner, but it wasn't at the top of my list for purchases. Actually, I had it in my mind I might go for a rose gold Yachmaster. Well, when I saw this behind glass, that all changed:https://photos.app.goo.gl/VyrdgQHqNpdAWCQTA

This is actually more my speed compared with the very flashy yachtmaster. I'm beyond satisfied. I was not on a wait list, and I had to look at my finances very quickly and make the buy. I don't know how available two-tone is compared with solid steel, but a bluesy also on display sold that very same afternoon!

My collection came together very nicely: first I took bronze (Tudor BBB), next reached for silver (Grand Seiko Spring Drive GMT with "Silver Blizzard" dial), and finally won the gold.

While I have all of your attention, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Rubber B straps, or another aftermarket rubber strap for rolex. I'm looking at this here specifically: I have a problem with bracelets that they give me awful carpel tunnel if I wear them too regularly. I can already tell this watch is a scratch magnet too. Any help?

I am enjoying my 116613LB I bought in early July. I’ve worn it constantly since then and I lightly clean it with mild shampoo and water before I put it away. Still looks brand new. I dislike rubber straps in general so can’t help you with that. But I can say Rolex Two Tone watches are fantastic...

Exactly the same as this, I think TT are more available due to the price, but once you have one a TT it will be a stayer.

Welcome to the club! I also wanted the rubber b strap for mine. It’s just easier to maintain overall without having to worry Scott scratching the bracelet.
