Thoughts on datejust 41 size on my wrist
Hey guys. I just recently picked up a datejust 41 to kind of “hold me over” until I can get my hands on a TT skyD. I’m by no means, unhappy with my purchase
but the other day in school I took a photo in the mirror to get a third person pov. It occurred to me it still might be a little small for my frame. I’m just curious on hearing people’s thoughts. I have 7.75” wrists. I didn’t have to take any links out of my watch. Also, before I hear people say it, I know the datejust is considered by many to be “dressy”. I’m a union electrician apprentice and I rarely get to dress up. I usually only get to wear my watches on weekends when I go out with my fiancée. The day of this photo was my first week I had the watch so I was excited to wear it. Felt the need to clarify this since there’s always that one smart response. It’s too small. The DJ41 is 39.5mm. I went through the same phase. The SkyD will fit your wrist much better. They make larger watches for bigger wrist. I would recommend you try the SD43 or DSSD. They will look better on your wrist. Good luck.

Datejust II would look better on you.
I have roughly the same size wrist as you and when I tried on the DJ41 I also felt it wore too small. For this reason I stuck with my DJII which is nearly 2 mm larger in diameter. The Sky would be a perfect dressier watch for you IMO. Also, are you sure about your wrist size? That looks like a 8 or larger from the photo. |

Looks boss. I think the 41 looks too big on most wrists, but your wrist size is about perfect for this dress/casual style of watch. I think it's more acceptable for a watch to be larger if it's a sports watch.
