Vintage Omega Speedmaster Professional Ref. 145.012-67 Cal. 321

The 145.012 is the last Speedmaster powered by thelegendary column-wheel Caliber 321 movement, and also the last Speedmaster flown by NASA during the Apollo missions, including being strapped to the wrist of Michael Collins during Apollo 11. This important moment in history has solidified the Speedmaster as one of the most important watches ever made and one of the most sought-after vintage watches in the world.

This 145.012-67 retains all of its original key components, with its signature stepped dial with wide-spaced "T"s, original hands, DON bezel, flat-foot crown, and pushers. The case shows wear typical with age but appears unpolished with sharp edges all around. The movement, a 25.00 million serial number, was just serviced and is in excellent working order.

Take a look at the photos and our condition description below:

Case: 42mm stainless steel case in excellent vintage condition. The case appears unpolished, the edges on the top of the lugs are very crisp as are the underside of the lugs and the transition from the brushed to polished area on the case sides. The case side brushing while not as crisp as new from years of wear still has the graining texture from the original brushed surface. Pushers are original with typical discoloration on the tubes as shown. Crown is original "flat foot" style.

Bezel: Original dot over 90 (DON) bezel that shows wear with scratching, pitting, and chipping in some areas.

Dial/Hands: Dial is original stepped tritium with applied logo and wide spaced "T"s in excellent condition. Lume is original tritium and intact with a very attractive creamy even patina but does show minor shrinking, common for this reference. Hands are also original tritium, the chronograph seconds hand has a correct wide head, the stalk of the hand shows some discoloration, as do the subdial hands as shown.

Caseback: Original stamped 145.012-67 caseback in very good condition as pictured. All engravings on the back are present and crisp.

Crystal: OEM Omega hesalite crystal freshly installed during service.

Movement: Caliber 321 manual wound chronograph movement. Watch is running great with smooth winding and chrono operation. All functions work as they should including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. 25.00 million serial number dating production to approximately first quarter 1968. Dust cover is present. Movement was just serviced in October 2020 by an Omega trained and certified master watchmaker.

Bracelet/Strap: Like new brown leather vintage style strap.

Accessories: None, sold as watch only.

Price is $8250 shipped insured FedEx overnight CONUS via PayPal or wire (3% discount for wire). US sale preferred, international sales will pay the cost of shipping.
