Dial swap on a 5711 ?
Hello there,
Is it possible to swap the dial on a 5711 from white to blue even though the 5711 is not produced anymore ? If so, will the value of the watch fall like it would on a Rolex ? :-) Happy new year ! |

If you send the watch in for servicing, Patek will not change the dial on request, unless it needs replacement. Patek is different from Rolex in many ways. |

I hope you don't change the dial just for the ongoing hype. The white is unique on its own. A non-original dial will certainly tank the value because at this price point people who are buying them want every single detail to be perfect!

If the specifications of the watch differs from Certificate of Origin or Extract from the Archives, not good for the value/legitimacy of authenticity. This is, if it's done aftermarket.
I'm not sure if Patek will do it (I doubt it), but if PP does it, they will make a note in the archive. S |
