Dear all,

Hi folks!

I'm after a quality watch winder, to keep my watches in, so they can also be ready to be worn straight away when i don't have them on my wrist.

I was just after recommendations please.

I have been very happy with Swiss Kubik. The winders feel very high quality with silent swiss made motors and nice aluminum chassis (wood, leather etc. optional at an extra cost). The battery literally lasts for years and the modest 10cm cube size makes these winders fit nicely into a safe. If you go for the slightly more pricey "masterbox" model the number of turns and the winding direction can be fine tuned via an app over bluetooth.

depends on budget. swiss kubik is very nice, have a linley tower that has two of them. also bought a rapport which is *ok* but for less than 200 from their outlet store is fine, the main issue is the cushion has no give. can get a bubenzorweg or bernard favre for something fancier.

I’ve used Wolf- but I recommend putting whatever winder you get with the attached watches or it in a safe.

Worth pointing out if you don't wear watches for a period of time you may have to adjust when you get them off the winder. They will be wound of course but 2-5 seconds a day (watch dependet of course) can add up over a few weeks. It might not be literally pick-up-and-put-on depending on the use.

Agreed many times. I had a Wolf in the past myself and it was fine. If I had a winder now, it would be one that did both AC and battery and one sized appropriately for my safe.

Orbita, runs on batteries for 6 years, you can put the winder with your watch in safe.
