Incoming - in 9 days?
So the market has been dropping but not as fast as it used to, so I took the plunge after joining Moda fb group and lurking for a while. Finally got a 2018 Rolex for 27k. I had hoped to wait for something in the 25k level, but patience is not my virtue. In fact, just the weekend before I actually bought myself a moonwatch. Now the Rolex in question is being polished. I asked for the bracelet to be lightly polished but nothing on the watch itself. Then they will ship it to me. Hopefully will get it Monday, at the latest I'm expecting Wednesday, most likely won't take 9 day (that's just a joke for those who remember the thread from a while back)
I know I didn't say what watch it is, but I'm sure most will guess right. I'll post pictures once I have it. |

I would think White since he just got the black speedy… but 27k for white isn’t easy even today.

Finally got it last night. It was so frustrating because of FedEx. I was in the bathroom or something and didn't make it to thr door at 9am when they came. Then I had to drive almost 30 minutes in traffic at 6pm to pick it up myself. That's after 4 phone calls with varying versions of where my package actually is at.
Anyway I slept with it and went out with my 3yr old son for the whole day with it. Took a few snap photos I will share later tonight when I have more than just a minute to myself. So far pretty happy. But I do have to say, if I didn't know that others are willing to pay $27k for a Daytona, I wouldn't have either. It's a very nice watch for sure, but I think the speedy can go toe to toe with it. The Daytona definitely feels more jewlery than tool watch whereas the moonwatch is tool watch no doubt about it |
