I miss a Radiomir
I present to you my current collection of Panerai.
From the left: - Panerai Luminor Marina 44mm PAM00111 - Panerai Luminor Due 42mm PAM00927 - Panerai Luminor 1950 GMT 44mm PAM01056 - Panerai Submersible Carbotech™ 42mm PAM00960 So there's an empty seat for a Panerai Radiomir. I really like the Radiomir 1940 42mm PAM00512. What do you think about it? Do you have any other ideas? Thank you. ![]() |

Nice collection! I think it's a win-win situation, regardless to what you decide on. If you're leaning towards a particular model, then by all means explore that as the potential next piece because that inclination exists for a reason. Take your time making the choice and enjoy the journey / process as much as you can!

Panerai is releasing a bunch of new Radiomir's this year. Wait a little while and you'll see some cool new designs coming out (i was at a Panerai event in December and got a sneak peak at the lineup and they look great).

Try not to get hung up on millimeters. A wire lug 47 mm Radiomir (like a 232) will wear similarly to (or smaller than) a 44 mm Luminor.

Your collection makes me realize I should have a Luminor
![]() ![]() I opted for the Radiomir 690. It’s a 1940s case but 47mm. |

What is the strap you have on the 111?
I thought it was a steel woven bracelet the first few times I looked at it. But see it is a perforated strap. I really like it on that Panerai. Will you take a few more pics. For Radiomir, I’m partial to the tropical dial 687. It’s a little more ‘in your face’… but then there is little subtle in a Panerai. |

I would consider a 183, 424 or a 190. Pure Panerai DNA. I also like the the 292 which is a ceramic case Radiomir.

I have just one radiomir. It’s probably the most exclusive contemporary piece since they only manufactured 1500. I’m unclear why it hasn’t yet become collectible, but I’m sure it will. They existed in in black dial or this 687 I have.

I'm about to purchase the new 45mm Radiomir Otto Giorni (the blue one). I like the 8-day movement and the gunmetal case color looks great.

Have a look at the 514. Rad with fixed lugs.
I have and am considering selling if you’re interested. |

Thank you. The 24 strap is by Cordes. Painted ammo. A few years old now.

I have a 512 and it’s amazing. It accompanied me on a recent holiday and never missed a beat.

In this time I have come to choose the PAM574 (see photo). It's like your PAM512 but features a new movement (the P.1000). It also comes with a blue strap. I will let you know future developments. |
