Just picked up my Datejust from a service + a question

Hey all,

Finally got my lovely 126234 back from service, and yes I had it polished.

Looks absolutely stunning, well done RSC.

Also came with a little booklet which was rather interesting to read through.

Quick question though, on my original warranty card it states the model is '126234' the service card now says the model is 'M126234'.

Is there any significance to this?

Thanks all!

No. M is not part of the reference number; it simply means Model in this context.

Looks great and love the case and booklet. Agree M is just short for Model.

Looks in new condition again, congrats, but do the edges of the lugs look a bit more rounded off? How does it look to yourself?

I mean honestly, it's barely noticeable the difference and it feels like a new edge when you actually feel it. Just looks like a new watch

Did you ask them to polish it?

Looks great… but why did you send it in for service this early?

Lots of wear, scratches and a chipped crystal I was concerned about WR resistance

Thank you

And yes I remember seeing them being advertised in 2019, fell in love with the watch. Just love the 36mm proportions, seems so classic and timeless.

Rang around a couple of Authorized Dealers in London, because I thought I'd have a better chance there but no one had one.

Then rang my local, who had several variations. Drove down there, tried some on and the rest is history as they say

Oops missed that due to a few too many

Glad it’s all good now!

I would agree with the others in that the “m” is just for model number….you could also just call RSC just to clarify if you’re still curious.

Great watch, and looks good again. M in front of the reference number has no significant meaning. It’s also on the white hangtag.
