Rolex's, they are Rocket Tough...

This past Friday me and my kids spent an afternoon launching my little guy's first model rocket. I don't know who had more fun -- him or I. His sister had a ball picking up cucumbers in the launch site, AKA, nearby cucumber farm field near our home.

I know our Rollies are tough enough for our deep sea adventures, parachuting, base jumping and such, but for me, my Rollie earned it's keep just by keeping me on time to spend time with my kids. Enjoy!

I bought a model rocket for my neighbor's boys one christmas and got the dirtiest look I've gotten from their mother in a long time, meanwhile, their father told me he couldn't wait to go fire it up with his boys!

Very cool! Great pictures too! Your tittle reads like a Rolex "advertisement" - the old type that would make them synonymous with some extraordinary feet of human strength / accomplishment haha

Thanks for the nice comments. We did have fun and we were all very thankful that we had such a large field to launch in. That thing really flew! Now the little guy is saving his money so he can go buy more rocket engines. As someone recently said to me, "kids, they are fun, they let you relive your own childhood again". How true.
