I don't think it was quietly as I saw them on all the major watch sites upon release. I think it was another release that no one asked for based on watch size and price, people just looked by them.

Beautiful, but again Omega misses the mark by making them monstrously sized.

I think it's a cool watch, but could never see myself buying it:

Too many other things I would rather put that amount towards, but I know this will appeal to some.

If I were some 6'5" NFL DE 280lb monster, I could probably pull this watch off. Unfortunately for Omega, I miss the mark by over 100lbs and 9" so the watch is unwearable for me.

The best of the ceramic PO is the Big Blue in my opinion.

I don't get it either. Who tf can pull these off?

You would have to be ~6'4+ and 250lbs, maybe 270+ lol.

Otherwise it would look comically oversized.

The thickness is outrageous for what it is...

Anyone who wants a travel time complication will be wearing formal or smart casual wear on their journeys and not want a watch of these dimensions. I have a JLC Master Geographic at 38mm which is perfect I don’t get what demographic this watch is aimed at. Seems totally pointless

What?

Omega releasing a watch that no one asked for while ignoring segments for which enthusiasts have clamored?

Couldn’t possibly be.

It's clearly for NFL Offensive Linemen who like diving across timezones!

Yes, they are large, but you forget they are ceramic and the lug to lug is fairly compact. The issue is thickness, but it is a 600M diver with a complication. A Fifty Fathoms 5015 is 45MM with a almost similar lug to lug, but slightly thinner and nobody bats an eye. The 43.5 ceramic diver 300 size melted away on my wrist when I tried it on due to how light it is and has a similar lug to lug as this. I wouldn't judge until you try it on. If this was Rolex there would be lines out the door, but if it was Tudor people would be saying the same thing as they are because it's an Omega.

Yes, the watch wears more compact lug-to-lug than you would think. I own a PO Deep Black GMT, and I wear it regularly, especially in the summer where short sleeves are the norm.

I think the thickness is challenging, but you don't really buy a 600m diver for thinness, at least I don't.

The problem I have with these worldtimer models is that the design makes it look kinda cheap and plastic-y. You don't get the sense it's actually ceramic. It looks more "bio-ceramic" if you know what I mean.

These models should really have more polish to them like the Deep Black models. The bezel shouldn't be blacked out. It's got to be readable. The honeycomb dial makes an already busy dial (due to the worldtimer function), even busier and chaotic.

I don't mind the concept, but I don't like the execution. I think the nearest comparison would be the IWC BP World Timer in ceramic which is 46mm in diameter with the chronograph version being also very thick. The non-chrono is 15mm thick. It think the newest Top Gun model is now 100m WR (the older version was 60m?)

I would not say there are lines out there door for deep sea , sea dweller 43, or even most sky dwellers which are beefier but still not as think as that omega.

To be fair there’s a sizeable opinion that the FF is too big as well
