Negative. I had one on order and there was a time I was genuinely excited. Since then I bought a second house in a somewhat remote area that I visit in the winter and I keep seeing videos of these things looking like a golf cart trying to get through the most pathetic of AWD conditions. Also I’m cheap and EVs tend to tank in value.

I think it would make a fun third or fourth vehicle.

No love from me on this one. For me has to be one of the most visually unappealing things around.

I was somewhat interested but after seeing one in person decided it was a hard no. I figured I could maybe get past the looks, but it is way too big at 223" long compared to the 195" of my BMX iX. It would not fit in my garage and would be a nightmare to park.

It will never pass pedestrian safety regulations here.
I think there's sort of a cool factor but it wouldn't be my first choice of truck.

That and it is a terrible truck. Also an awful vehicle overall.

I pulled one out of a ditch with my F250 last night. It lost traction in a half inch of wet snow on a salted road. The owner was livid and probably would have given you his had you been there and asked for it.

I’m curious to know what sort of real world range he’s getting on his ‘S’ in the winter time.

My wife is considering a Tesla.

Thanks

I’m not a fan of EVs in general, but I think it’s a pretty cool looking truck. But if you really need a pickup truck, it’s hard to beat an F-150.

From my experience with his car, he gets about 580 km of range when charged to 100%. I've had my Model Y for some time, and I consistently get around 400 km of range in the winter. I currently use 20-inch rims without aero caps, whereas my dad uses the aero caps. Something I found interesting was we drove to Florida this year in the Model S. It was honestly easier than traveling in an ICE vehicle. All the charging stops were planned for us, and each supercharger station had some form of fast food available. It didn't take much longer when accounting for the breaks we would have normally taken.

That’s impressive winter range … I would’ve thought efficiency would drop off a lot more than that

I would expect it to go down some more. It has been an extremely mild winter so far. I have noticed you really see a range drop when its is -10-15 degrees. That is when I see the 15% normally reported. I drove to Buffalo and back last week on a single charge in my MY.
