Vintage first wear on wrist….
So, my second Patek landed today, and this one is a bit of a curveball.
Say hello to the 570. This watch was built in 1947, almost 80years ago. Serviced recently, with original dial. It’s small by today’s standards, yes, but this is where modern wristwatches started, and it feels kinda nice to go back to the start…. It anchors my collection My 5226 is still my daily, but this, well, it honours time, not just measures it |

Really appreciate views on what straps would work with it too? Clearly bracelets and rubber are out. The alligator on it now is PP, and classical, but thoughts on other colours, styles?

I wore a vintage Patek back in the 80's/ 90's. But care must be taken, of course. The crystal fell off mine a few times. I was lucky to find them in my lap on both occasions The gold lugs would bend as well. A great special event piece, not an everyday watch though.
Good looking reference, OP! Something special about wearing a vintage watch. dP
