Icon4 Santos Dumont XL v L

I own a L Santos Dumont black lacquer and was gifted a XL Santos Dumont silver.. I have a 6” wrist and am unable to return the XL because more than 30 days have passed. Should I try to sell the XL on the grey market and buy a smaller size, or just stay with the XL? Photos attached of the L vs XL.I’d probably take a $1k+ hit on the XL if I sell it, but that would still allow me to buy the L, which unlike the XL is quartz.

Thoughts?

I don’t know. Looking at those photos the two watches seem to be the same. The lug to lug seems to be the same.

I prefer the silver dial but the case size is not as apparent to me.

Nice watch

Quartz option would be pointless.

1k beating sounds optimistic but if it was a gift it’s all upside?

Cartier Xl wear very big

I have the XL, quartz is pointless IMO.

Based on the photos I think you should stay with the XL. Looks very similar if not identical in the wrist shot pics to me.

There’s a point… it would fit my wrist.

The XL looks great on your wrist. I love that watch and I think it's the steel/silver Dumont to have

I agree with all the above. The XL appears very similar and it’s mechanical. I’d for sure keep them as is.
