Incoming Sub LV

I picked up this beauty today and love the green. I don’t think I realized how much I like color in my watches until the BLNR and this takes it too the next level.

I really missed brushed bracelet and the less busy bezel compared to the GMT. I think it’s going to be an awesome two watch collection.

I’ve complained a lot about the 12 series fit, but we went through a bunch of different link removals scenarios before landing on removing 1 link from six and one from 12 and it’s perfect.

I can’t wait for tonight as the green changes tone in low light settings.

Awesome watch indeed.

I, too, didn't realize how much I like color on a watch until I bought my 16610LV in '06. I wasn't fully "feeling it" for the black Sub, as it seems you see them everywhere...so something different held a lot of appeal for me. I am So glad I bought the LV- I never get tired of looking at it. BTW- I do love the black Sub...there no way you can't, what with it being The Quintessential tool watch that all others have emulated since.

Congratulations.

It's remarkable how selectively moving a link or two can transform the fit well beyond merely bracelet size. Always worth fine tuning if necessary.

Man HUGE congrats! I can’t get enough of mine, I have been wearing more than my BLNR recently. You will love the change of colors and will get shocked sometimes to see how great the green pops of the black dial. Wear it in good health, enjoy!

I've already noticed it - it's like a different watch at the grocery store vs. my home office vs. in the car. The green almost blurs the black dial which I really like. I also cannot get enough of the brushed bracelet.

The Sub is THE Sub and does what it does better than anything. The GMT and Sub are very different personalities. I have not taken mine off yet so far.

Agreed I really love the black sub, in fact it’s what started it for me. The green on this really adds this extra touch that I don’t think will ever make the watch boring. I’ve had my BLNR for 1.5 years and I still love the way the blue looks in different lighting.

The first black sub I bought was grey and it was pre sized I think from there I never got the right sizing. I had my AD really work to size this watch right and have the clasp dead center. It’s kind of crazy how much that matters because I’ve worn this watch all day and zero comfort problems for me.

Amazing piece, congrats! That’s a great one-two punch with the BLNR.

The LV plays so much with the light (almost hulk vibes below), enjoy it !

Same two watch combo as me. Amazing. Have had mine for two months. The green pops so much and it is a lot of fun for a bad ass casual watch.
