Icon4 [STOLEN ITEM] Patek Philippe Annual Calendar

Hey everyone -

My wife's Patek Philippe Annual Calendar was stolen off her during a stay at the emergency room in Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital on May 21. We have investigations ongoing with the police department and hospital (and have been calling local pawns), but wanted to send out the information to other watch collectors to see if the item has been spotted on the secondary market.

Here's the key info for the watch:
Model reference: 5146J-010
Movement serial number: 3421515
Case serial number: 4319906

In addition to being valuable, the watch holds great sentimental value to my wife, and we are trying to flood every channel possible to ensure that it is caught if someone tries to sell. Open and grateful to suggestions for anything else we can do beyond submitting the lost/stolen property report to the NYPD and Patek.

As I'm a new user, I cannot add a link to the watch model, but it is an Annual Calendar watch with a dark leather wristband, gold case/numbers/hands, and a dark brown/black face with 2 complications for an annual calendar.

That’s a special kind of despicable to steal from someone while they’re in the emergency room

I hope your wife’s watch is returned and that person suffers consequences

People suck.

My mom had multiple gold chains stolen (had her name and my contact # since she had dementia) when in a nursing facility.

Wanted her to have something nice but ended up going with stainless steel eventually.

That's so wrong, just when your at the most venerable, someone would do that.

I hope wife's OK, and the watch shows up.

Hope your wife is okay. There’s got to be more to this story. There are cameras everywhere in a hospital. They would see everyone in and out of her room in the ER.

It is not clear what happened here from the post. OP states "off her" which to me means someone took it off her wrist. My initial impression was the jewelry were removed for some form of treatment, and it went missing from there. More information would be helpful for other folks to somehow know how to protect themselves from this happening to them while they are in a hospital.
