Icon5 Pam 2164 at Heathrow Airport

I was on a 3 hour layover when I stopped in at the Panerai dealer and tried on their 2164 42mm Goldtech. It felt comfortable and looked real nice but I only had 15 minutes left before boarding. I started to sweat a bit and I felt the bottom of the watch and the strap was wet when I took it off.

Is that because I was sweating or is there a propensity for the rubber type strap to sweat?

My ROLEX 116622 Yachtmaster didn't sweat when I put it on right after the 2164.
