Looking for some guidance

I have zero'd in on the Panerai PAM 112 Luminor Base (pre owned, 2012) as my first Panerai. I am attracted to this model and it seems like a legit representation of the Panerai DNA.

As this forum is where the experts are, I was hoping for any guidance/comments/thoughts on this selection.

Thanks.

Perfect start. There’s really 2 choices over the years of production. Early series have painted dial and decorated movement, my choice. Later have sausage dial and non-decorated movement. Here’s my G series I sold a while ago, and the only one I’d buy again.

Great choice!
Same watch can also be had in titanium as PAM 00176.

OP, 112 is a great start. You might also consider a 000. Both classic 2 handers.

I would also look at a early Pam 104.
