can't think of one,it looks like you either get the unwanted date or a non 1950 case.

Think you have to take the date given your preferences. I second the 351 nomination!

Don't forget the 386. Same watch as the 312 but composite and brown dial.

If you like full Arabic numeral dial, go for a 359. The dial is to die for.

Agree and the price of 386 is not too much higher than 312 too. Listed price in China is approximately USD10,121 but bear in mind that it would be much cheaper elsewhere due to high taxes in China!!!

Also the 328 if you want a bracelet....

If you expand to four hands: 320, 321, 329, and 347.

Luminor 1950 sub? 305.

Flyback? 361. Rattrapante? 362.

If you feel like a 10-day power reserve: 270, 335.

Okay.....I *think* all Luminor 1950 models have been mentioned in this thread now.....besides specialities, maybe? 275, 311, 317.

LOL.....yes, I just bused out my new catalogue! Thanks for the inspiration.....

Tourbillon Luminor 1950? 306!

320 does it for me. More interesting imho than the 312, but retains the clean look. The fourth hand can be hidden behind the hour hand. I find the others (321, 270, etc) a bit too busy. However you won't go wrong with any of the models that have been suggested here.
