K.P.Lim strap brand, or some guy's initials!?
Okay, I think I just got screwed. I visited a watch dealer today that has aftermarket straps and I tried on a few, this particular one I liked the most. The sales man kept going on at how this was from WW2 and it was made by vintage leather from jackets back then. He also mentioned that the engraving on the inside was the maker's imprint(name?).
Anyway, I couldn't care less about the history, the last thing I want to hear is the leather on my watch cam from a nazi corpses' jacket!! I just like it and bought it. I came home, googled everywhere and could not find anything with the same imprint. Did I just get ripped off? I'm guessing this was some other guys' strap that had his initials custom printed on the strap and changed his mind or sold it. I'm going back tomorrow to return it, unless I'm wrong? |

There are hundreds of hobbyist strap makers out there. Just because he isn't one of the well known makers doesn't necessarily mean the that the dealer was lying.
Regardless of that, I think the strap looks great! |
