I am so SICK

Just got back my 312 from Panerai in Fort Worth this past Mon. I was so excited. She 's been away from about 2 months now. Sent her in because she was running 30 sec fast. Now I have to send her back because she has not slow down at all. From the medical paper, she had total make over. I am just confused. It seems she has been away more ever since this marriage began. I wish I never set my eyes on her.

How did you buy it? Used or new from AD/Boutique

If you bought new, I'd demand money back.

If used, I'd be calling someone at Panerai asap.

+1. Try and talk to Panerai rep in either case.

your local AD should be able to regulate the watch for you and will take a week or so max.

typical panerai service. sorry to hear about that..

you would think they would at the very least, test their watches before they send your watch back to you.

call panerai NY head office, not the store, but their offices. you can get the number from the customer service center.. thats where you should call and complain in a matter like this one.
i called myself to the NY office when service damaged my panerai.

It shouldnt take that long and if there was a thorough inspection then it should have been repaired or adjusted.

Sorry to her about your service issue. I had a 351 and it died after 2 weeks, I brought it back and got my money back. I got a 114 now and love it works great. I think Panerai should stick to making manual wind movements.

If the watch is running 30 sec fast a day it might simply be magnetized (that happened to one of my Panerais and to a JLC Reverso my wife owns as well). A good dealer should be able to demagnetize it in a second and check it on their watch timing machine (our dealer did just that). Might save you the time and hassle of having to send it in again.

BTW, a repairman who was recommended to me thought my watch needed an overhaul when it was simply magnetized. He also looked at it on a watch timing machine and claimed it wasn't magnetized, but he was wrong (or lying), so make sure to take it to a top notch place to have it checked.

Sad thing is, Panerai didn't make the movements for the 114. Swiss ETA did. Hopefully the bugs get worked out of their in-house movements.

Sorry to hear this and also sorry to hear another terrible story about Panerai customer service... I dont understand how this can happen again and again Are these just isolated events or is Panerai service really not that good? Can anyone help me here, I have never had any experience myself but it concerns me.

Let us know how this gets resolved but I for one would also make a complaint as this seems like silliness to have a watch gone for months for something as simple as a regulation

Man, I feel your pain. Been there, done that.

I had no luck dealing with the Rep.--"send it in". Yeah, for the third time.
