New strap for the upcoming spring/summer

Hey Everyone,

I'm asking for a little help! I'm in the market for a new gold/honey/brown color strap. I go to my local dealer and bought a new strap for my Panerai 312 today. Unfortunately, I have to wait 4 weeks for it to arrive and I don't know what it looks like. I purchased a OEM strap, 115/95 24/22, alligator gold, ecru stitch. If anybody has a picture of this strap on a Panerai would be appreciated.

Also, what is the difference between the Alligator Gold Nubuck & regular Alligator Gold???

Nubuck is suede gator basically. It is also commonly called the "JV" strap (Jules Verne). It was called that because of a model engraved by Purdy of Jules Verne on the land/sea edition. The strap was sold on that watch.

Here is what it looks like new.

Here is what it looks like with some "patina". The one on the watch.

I don't have pics of the gold semi-matte, but it is just a more normal gator in a semi-matte finish. No suede. The two gators not on the watch in my second pic are semi-matte finish, but not the gold color.

Hope this helps.

You guys are such a bad influence. The OEM offerings are a bit shorter than I prefer so I went aftermarket. This is inbound as of today, can't wait!

Dark Golden Honey Nubuck Louisiana Alligator with Cream Stitching. Width: 24/24mm. Length: 130/80mm.

w/ Brushed Pig Buckle

Now the long 2 week wait for arrival from Thailand begins. Good thing I have plenty of other straps to keep me smiling till it gets here.

The JV is great. I got mine about 2-3 weeks ago. Doesn't dissappoint
