Icon20 PAM 427 - Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio

Ok, my turn

I've always been a fan of the Rattrapante complication (split-seconds, ...) as well as OP's P.2006. The P.2006 was (up to now) only used in the 319 which is gold (not my favorite and certainly not my wallet's favorite either), so I am pleased to see the return of the P.2006 after three years...

Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio

"December 2012: a fleet of vintage yachts which have made sailing history is voyaging from Cascais in Portugal, heading for Barbados. This is the Panerai Transat Classique 2012... Officine Panerai, sponsor of the race, is celebrating the most spectacular race of the 2012 classic yachting season with the Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio, an exclusive Special Edition distinguished by an engraving of the logo of the Panerai Transat Classique 2012 on the back of the case. The watch has been made in a limited edition of 500 units ... The Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio is a split-seconds chronograph with vertical clutch and twin column wheels, and it offers numerous functions that are characteristic of top-of-therange mechanical watchmaking, all assembled in the P.2006 movement, entirely developed and created in the Officine Panerai manufacture in Neuchâtel ... Identified by the reference PAM00427, the Luminor 1950 Rattrapante 8 Days Titanio is supplied with a rubber strap. It is sold exclusively in Panerai boutiques throughout the world and at a small number of specialist watch shops."

Alas, the gorgeous movement is hidden from view on this model...

I know it is a chrono, but it feels busy. Not a fan.

I'm with you..........there would probably be fifty or more Panerai models I would consider before that one. Leave the Chronos to others!!!!

I wouldnt buy it over the 233 .. but a chronograph with 8-day power reserve is something INCREDIBLE.
Cheers to that ...
