Rolex Shopping in NYC
Hello all,
I'm planning to do some Rolex shopping in NYC in the coming weeks. Does anyone have any recommendations for good shops in the NY Diamond District area? I'm looking for a pre-owned GMT Master II and would like to do a face to face deal since I am nearby. Your input is greatly appreciated! regards, Ravi |

It has been my experience that dealers in the Diamond District are mostly reliable. You can rely on the fact that you will pay a little less than at an AD, but they won't extend any other services.
I bought my 14060 Submariner from Josef'sWatches. He is a watchmaker at #8 West 47th Street. He has a nice selection of pre-owned Rolex sport watches. I can't say whether they all come with boxes and papers, but he will stand behind his merchandise. The "window dealers" are generally a little high pressure. Central Watch at GrandCentral Station is another good place to look. Also, a watch repair business, nice vintage Rolex's. Be aware these stores are open M-F. I hope this helps, good luck, |
