My small collection so far...

I bought my first Rolex about 6 weeks ago (Mid-June) as a 10th Anniversary gift (my wife got new and improved engagement and wedding rings) and I loved it so much that I bought a new Rolex almost every week, for 4 weeks in a row...I'm glad I stopped.

Here's the funny thing about this small collection, after I bought my 4th Rolex, the Cellini date in all Black, I started searching here on the forum to see what people thought about it. I found a thread (http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=365006) where people vote for their least favorite Rolex.

Arguably, the top 3 most hated, or least favorite watches are 3 of the 4 watches I own. The YMII in Yellow Gold, the Milgauss, and of course, the most hated of them all, the Cellini.

Some people may say I have the "ugliest" Rolex collection in this forum, but is it?

From left to right by level of hate:

I need to get another winder:

Next stop is a PP Nautilus...but I have to wait for a while before that happens...I placed an order for a new 2017 Raptor last week!

I think you have a very nice collection. Yes i would say get rid of the cellini but personally if you already have it and like it than wear it in good health. I love the YM II in YG. I think most people don't like it due to its price. Its a pretty expensive piece in the rolex line. Other than that i have no clue why someone would hate the watch.

I would take your collection no problem. The PP is a nice touch for you next piece.

As long as you like the Cellini then who cares? Enjoy your collection! The Milgauss will be added to my stable soon.

Unless you are a dealer, do not base your collection on other people's taste. You collection is wonderful because it is what you like. One should get what they like. Getting something that most people like in a survey would be like ordering crab when you are allergic to seafood just because other people at the table are having it.

I dig your collection. Nice and diverse. I think the new Cellini line has some really great looking dress watches. Surprised they don't get more love on the forum.

Don't worry what others think BUT my guess is in 2 years time you may flip 3 out of the 4. Tastes change and you will want something else. It is human nature. Welcome to the forum and enjoy the ride

You sure have good taste in Trucks the Raptor is by far the best truck on or off road. The only reason I didn't get the 2017 is because it only has a 6 cylinder engine hopefully in 18/19 they will have a 8 cylinder as a option. I have a 13 Raptor with a Whipple 700HP Supercharger on the 6.2 and it is Awesome.
Good luck with your new Raptor it should be a hoot to drive. IMO your watch collection is outstanding you must have bought them because you loved them Your money your wrist your watch everything was fine until people started giving their opinions . When people start giving you watches instead of opinions buy and wear what sings to you. Sometimes I think some people are jealous. That YMII in YG anyone hating that is only hating it's not on their wrist. Make sure you post some pictures when you get your new Raptor.

Not sure why the Cellini is hated so much. I like it a lot, especially the rose gold. In fact the Cellini and the YG Yachtmaster II are probably my favorite of the modern Rolexes. For the Sub, GMT, and Explorer, I vastly prefer vintage variants.

I don't own one Rolex yet, so it's moot. But a guy can dream, eh?

Too each his own. I am not a big fan of gold, so I would not care for your YM. I love the Submariner, but not in Green. The Celini is nice, but not my style. Now for the Milgauss, I love it. So 1 out of 4 is not bad. But, that is my taste, and everyone has a different taste. So if you like your watches, who cares what other people think.
