Rolex papers

Hey Guys,

I bought a 98 TT DJ last month, complete with box and papers. The paper, being a certificate.

I just bought a new GMT2 yesterday from an AD, and only have a warranty card inside. I assume that this is the "papers" on the newer Rolex's, or am I missing something?

You're ok. The new warranty card looks like a credit card with model number and serial number.

Yes, they slide the strip on the card at purchase and all details go to Rolex.

All the so called papers are nothing more than a warranty whether plastic or paper like you get with most retail goods today.
