That would drive me crazy on the bezel like that. I would bite the bullet and buy a new insert.

Happened to my BLNR in the same spot. Wife did it with a diamond. I'm not sure if it can be re-coated. If not, I'll probably have them replace the insert.

I believe the same method a fine watch detailer would use to work on a platinum bezel yachter, might do the same to make it right
