First Panerai
Happy Friday,
I have always enjoyed the Italian style and (what I think I know of the) history of the brand but never felt compelled to actually own one. I ran accross this limited to 100 pieces for the Middle East gulf area edition while in Dubai last week. The dial color, in-house movement and the light (Ti) case with the crown protector got me. It came with a light tan canvas strap which really cemented the desert theme but I wanted the (what will be distressed) leather strap. I find it interesting to compare this piece to the 5522 - the clean dials with different color matte finishes. I hope you enjoy the pics. |

That looks really nice, Congrats. I don't care for the brown or tan dials but that combo goes great together.
