Quick rant...

Last year my 233 had to be serviced because the hour hand would get stuck around midnight. Even though all my watches see very limited use because of my heavy rotation I was ok with it since I had the watch for a few years and I bought it used... surprisingly, I found the major service reasonable at around $800. More importantly, they did a good job and did not damage my watch or left any dust/lint under the crystal (I’ve read the many horror stories from PASC so I was worried as hell)... and all in about 2 months if I recall correctly.

Fast forward to this past weekend... my PAM 305 now seems to have an issue that will require servicing. Seems to be getting stuck around 10:45 pm and when adjusting the date by moving the hour hand it does not “click” every hour like it used to (can still hear the click but it’s very faint now and weak on the notches if you know what I mean). So another trip to Panerai BH... can only cross my fingers that this time will also be a reasonable service cost and that they do the job right.

End of rant...
