"Luxury watchmaker Panerai recently took delivery of an Ascott S120iP. This bench top salt spray test chamber will be used at the manufacturing site in Neuchatel, Switzerland to verify the corrosion resistance of the high quality component parts that Panerai incorporate into their watches.

The history of Panerai can be traced back to the 19th century when as a watch-making laboratory, they were selected as a supplier of measurement and precision instruments to the Italian Navy. That tradition and association with the sea continues into the twenty-first century with their current product range.

The Ascott chamber selected by Panerai is the ever popular bench-top 120 Litre capacity model. This salt spray chamber is capable of meeting a wide range of international salt spray test standards and is ideally suited to the testing of small component parts."
