New dial layout for 5711

When was this new dial layout introduced for the 5711?

I am talking about the borders around the PP font.

Was it only introduced for the white dial?

White dial has had for years (perhaps always). Blue dial switch occurred mid 2018. My Feb 2018 blue dial does not have the borders.

Mine is a 2018 blue dial without the borders. I don’t really know which one I prefer.

The 2018 new dial also has a different blue. There were certain angles where the 5711 blue was a bit dull grey- that is not longer the case.

I think I know what you mean. On my older dial, a certain angle and lighting it has a grey tint to it.
