Loving Panerai

I tried on a Panerai today... not sure the model number but it said Luminor Marina - they had a white face and a black face on a leather strap.

I LOVED it! Can anyone tell me more about this model? What I should expect to pay? Should I go grey?

Thanks!

Jen, I would totally go for it, such a great community that goes along with the watches as well. Check out www.paneristi.com

Don't know how many time it can be said, but so much more than just a watch!

Sales corner there and here have some good deals on pre-owned, just do your homework.

Check out model PAM 113 here

My advice is go for 111 or 005. The classic HISTORIC models.

Uh oh!!!!!

First off congrats. There is room for many watches and Pam's are great with Rolex.

Few Questions to help you find which one you tried on.
1. Do you know if you tried on the 40mm or 44mm model?
2. Did it have a date?
3. Do you know if it was manual or automatic?
4. Did it have 2 or 3 hands?

Answer as many of those Q's as you can and I can identify your white Pam!

bwahahahahahahahaha

Pam 114 - two hander (aka Base), manual wind 6497, 44mm, exhibition back

Pam 113 - three hander (aka Marina), manual wind 6407, 44mm, exhibition back

Pam 049 - three hander + date, auto movement, 40mm, solid back

note that the Pam 050 is the same watch with a bracelet

Pam 251 - chrono + date, auto, 44mm, solid back

Let me try
1. I tried both - preferred the 40 but 44 works too.
2. No
3. Automatic I think since I could feel the swinging
4. Umm... 2 main with a lil hand at the 9 (3 total)

And the winner is....

Aha! I tried the 113 and the 049! I think the 113 was the one I favored... but I liked the automatic motion of the 049.
