FS: 1966 Rolex GMT with 1675 Gilt Dial

Serial #: 1347XXX

Description: Case: Phenomenal case that has very sharp and pronounced lugs for a 54 year old watch. The previously red and blue bezel insert has faded to a ghost grey hue. Dial: The stunning dial looks black in all but the brightest of light. In the light it has blue spots that decrease in size as they get farther from the center post. The lume has turned a warm creamy hue and glows brightly when exposed to UV. The hands have aged to a darker sage hue and glow less intensely than the markers but fall off at exactly the same rate. This is also a very rarely seen gilt GMT variation where the Swiss T <25 is printed very high on the bottom of the dial and almost touches the 6 o'clock lume plot. Bracelet: The newer 12 link oyster bracelet is attached to the watch with 580 end links. The bracelet has very lighyt stretch, and the clasp is stamped with a 1978 date code. Accessories: None Notes: When all the elements come together just right.
