Available for sale is a vintage Universal Geneve in yellow gold with a black dial. The dial has an attractive glossy finish which really looks good in the light. The serial number is 1440302 dating this watch to about 1949. This is a stunning piece which is better on the wrist than any photo.

Case: 25.4 mm 14K Yellow case showing light signs of honest wear. The caseback has an engraving. We chose to leave the case unpolished to allow the buyer to decide if they would like to keep it original

Dial/Hands: Features a black dial with a very attractive glossy black finish, it really is stunning to look at on your wrist.

Caseback: 14 Karat yellow Gold caseback with light signs of previous wear though in overall very nice condition. The inner caseback has stunning original IWC engravings.

Movement: manual winding movement signed Universal Geneve, service history unknown. We left this piece unserviced to allow the buyer to decide where they will service or note. The watch is currently running +104 seconds per day, we would recommend a service as this watch is running well below COSC timing.

Bracelet/Strap: Vintage dark blue leather band in lightly used condition

Crystal: Original plastic with no marks or scuffs
