hi guys, i need some help
i am thinking about pulling the trigger on this 1675, this will be my first vintage rolex purchase. Can the experts/more seasoned collectors share your opinions on this piece please? thanks heaps in advance!

Better photos are needed, but it appears to have a lot of service parts, which decreases the desirability for collectors. Still could be a very nice piece for daily wear at the right price. It would be helpful to see the invoice from the Rolex service.

The key question is... are you the type of guy that will look at it and not enjoy it, and then constantly search for a correct dial ? May not be worth it

Based on eBay sales I've seen, I'd say roughly 40%.

Harry brings up a good point. I know I’m the type that it would bother. If it doesn’t bother you and you don’t think you’d ever sell or trade, then it may be ok at a steep discount to a period correct example. Unfortunately,
RSC’s goal seems to be focused on bringing vintage pieces to current operating specs without regard to period correctness and impact on value. That results in a watch that functions well, but in many cases may have had thousands of $$ in value shaved off compared to pre-service condition. Very sad to see that and some think the service card adds value, when it’s actually had value subtracted.

The service document says it's a 16750, not a 1675. The 16750 followed the 1675 (1981-1988) and has the Caliber 3075 movement with quickset date feature.

I believe it says 1675/0, not 16750. This would be a 1675 reference, where the "/0" distinguishes it from the two-tone 1675/3, I believe.
