Only time I ask customers if they ride a Harley is when I see screws loose in their movement... 50% of the time they do.
Still, I think you'll be fine... I don't see it that often!

My wife won't let me get near a Harley, claiming they are too dangerous for a guy as foolish as I. How badly will my Rolex be damaged if she catches me on one?

Well Mike, if it has a 32xx movement and it’s running slow, someone will be along any minute to explain it to you

I have a buddy that had a 16618 in the 90’s. He was riding his Harley and it fell off (most likely a screw backed out or a spring bar broke). He never found it.

Logically I would think the rotor axle will get a lot of vibrations and therefore wears out quicker.

Rode my HD with my Sub on for many years, it was fine until I went down and scrapped up the Sub. (I have a thread here about it, but I cannot find the Pics of it scrapped up)
The Vibration was never an issue. I also shoot (trap, skeet, IDPA, USPSA, 3-Nug) with it and its perfectly fine along with Golf, so I do not baby it. Its solid! |

The human body is a wonderful vibration attenuator.

I have a 1951 and a 1962 BMW, never a problem. Of course, the real answer to rough usage is a NATO band. BMWs are in the Rolex parking lot outside Geneva.
I used to have an FXRP, then went back to motorcycles that were as dependable as my Rolex Submariner red 1680. |

I know it is ok to wear a Rolex and ride a Ducati. Only issue would be laying it down with a watch on.

I rode bicycles and the road vibration loosened a screw in the bracelet. Caught before it fully dislodged.
