manual wind vs automatic penerai?

Does manual wind means the watch needs to be wind every few days?

Same as with your Rolex watches, when you dont wear them 24/7

Manual Panerai tend to hold their value better.
I guess for daily wear one would go with an automatic like 312/104, or power reserve like 233. I prefer 270 10 day reserve(auto) for looks, very expensive though

I have worn auto. Rolex watches for a long time, and I have to say that I much prefer manual wind movements over auto's. I absolutely love giving my Pam a full wind, flipping it over and looking at the movement, watching the gears turn is awesome. It's also nice to know that the watch is fully wound, unlike my Rolex watches were I am left guessing if I need to wind it or not.

Manual wind Pams need to be wound every couple of day's.

I love manually winding my 183. It's nice to do every morning when I have it in the rotation.

you know guys... you can still manually wind your automatics... :)

I prefer the automatics and if I have the itch to wind, I can just wind it up like a manual.

I am guessing it's JV Gold Nubuck Strap. Amazing strap if you ask me.

Anyway, manual wind for me, I enjoy the regular winding ritual.

Yes, its real pain in butt, really hard to do it. manuals is smooth and easy compared to trying to wind a 7750 movement with small crown!

Wind my 111 every morning.

Turn it around ....

Can see the gears moving and the thumb dont scratch/scuff the polished bezel.
