Philips latest NY auction - low effort listings? Vintage less popular?

I was checking Hodinkee and saw an article by Ben Clymer that he was selling a couple of his watches through them. The auction was already finished so I checked the results.

I saw a couple of APs that are brand new, with stickers on them, so likely all from the same person. Is that really something they want to offer? Seems more like inventory for a grey dealer than them but money is to be made so all goes I guess.

And then looking at the vintage watches beside the high end Pateks, those are rather soft in price and not as high as the previous years. I don't this downwards trend.

I read the article on Hodinkee. Though it was self serving and typical. I have had the feeling for awhile that Hodinkee was circling the drain and this is just another step toward it.

I did like the article to be honest, a bit more insight into his collection and it was rather relatable how he looks at watches now he has kids.

I do think it helped a lot on that Universal Geneve lol.
