IWC Ingenieur Blue dial

Tried on the IWC Ingenieur blue dial variant. It was nice looking and fit well. Out of all the colors I’d choose blue. I debated whether to pick it up or wait for W&W to see what other IWC novelties come out. I decided to wait ..

It's one of those watches that I want to like, but there's just something about it that doesn't wow me.

Understandable move. I really like the blue Ingenieur. It is my favorite of that line up.

Beautiful watch but if it didn’t really speak to you, it was good to hold off

A good looking watch that is overpriced to me for what it is. Waiting was smart and the secondary market could be your friend should you decide to buy one. Your AD might also offer a significant discount, think 20%, as that will not even touch the loss should you decide to move the watch later.

I’m a big fan of the new Ingenieur. Fit, finish, feel, it’s all there, with a Genta bonus. The price is what it is.

Personally, I’m struggling to choose between the titanium and black dial.

I don't know, the dial on these just looks too busy to me.
If you like it you should get it!

I have handled them and for me the pattern is a bit too much as is the MSRP. That said, IWC makes a nice watch. Amazing bracelets.

It doesn’t look horrible. I’d definitely consider at $5k.

You would have to be in very bright light to see the checkerboard

I was under very bright AD spotlights, so yes the checkerboard shows up quite a bit. In real world conditions, at one point i wasn't sure if it was blue or black

I picked up the black dial and love it. Don't think you would be dissapointed, but rumor is new Ingenieurs are coming at W&W.

Gave the blue dial a second chance today, and I’m really glad I did. Really very nice.

All of them are nice. Priced at a fraction of other Genta designs, like the Royal Oak and Nautilus.

Well, it’s cheaper than a third all-gold CHNR! j/k

More seriously, the price is the price. It only hurts once…. :-)

Great watch, but if you are looking for something similar, I got a great deal on Zenith defy skyline and am really happy with it.
